Meteorite – An Intriguing Material

Full Page Meteorite Ad_RGB

One of the most intriguing materials in the watch industry is meteorite. It takes thousands of years for the metal to slowly cool in order to for the crystalline structure to form. But the raw material does not look as they do in timepieces like the Meteorite Tourbillon. The unmistakable Widmanstatten pattern cannot be seen until it goes through an acid etching process. With the application of acid, the pattern gradually becomes more and more prominent, and with a careful polish and gloss finish, you end up with a truly stellar result.
