Customizing Dials

A lot can be said about a timepiece with customized dial designs, but there is a great deal more than just aesthetic appeal. A ton of work goes into engineering and crafting these dials in order to make them fit properly to the case, come out with the correct finish, and of course, be durable and high quality enough to capture the essence of proper watchmaking. The watch you see above is the Aureate Tourbillon, one of the latest tourbillon timepieces to join Stuhrling Original’s collections in 2013. The upper dial is custom-engineered for this case size and design. Not only does it feature two different finishes and patterns, it is carefully cut to reveal the lower dial and frame the tourbillon cage! To top it off, it also includes individually hand-applied Roman numerals!
